Emotional Healing Coaching

You've done everything you know how to do. Something underneath is asking to be released.

You've read the books. You've sat in the therapist's chair. You've journaled, meditated, repeated the affirmations. And some of it helped—but it didn't really work to heal you or change your beliefs about yourself deep down.

You still feel stuck. You still don't feel like your real self. You're still repeating the same patterns, and nothing you do seems to change.

You're not imagining it. And you're not broken.

Something in you is asking to be healed. Not managed, not understood, but actually released.

What Is Emotional Healing?

Emotional healing is the process of releasing pain, trauma, and limiting beliefs that are stored not just in your mind — but in your body and nervous system.

Most of us think of healing as something that happens through understanding. We believe that if we can make sense of what happened, we'll feel better. And insight matters, but it's only part of the picture.

Many of our deepest wounds were formed before we had words for them. In moments of fear, helplessness, rejection, or loss, when our nervous system learned that the world wasn't safe. Those experiences didn't just create memories. They created physical patterns in your body, in your nervous system. Patterns of bracing, of shutting down, of pushing through, of performing.

Emotional healing reaches the root of those patterns to help you to see the truth, to feel safe, and to let go of the old beliefs that still cause you pain and keep you stuck.

How Unhealed Emotions Show Up

You might not use the word "unhealed." Most people don't. But the signs are there, quietly running in the background of your daily life.

You feel exhausted even when nothing particularly stressful is happening. Your body is spending enormous energy keeping old pain at bay.

You react to small things in big ways. A tone of voice, a perceived slight, a moment of rejection, and suddenly you're flooded with emotion that doesn't match the situation. That's not weakness. That's an old wound being triggered.

You feel stuck in patterns you can see but can't break. The same relationship dynamics. The same self-sabotage. The same inner critic that shows up right when you start to believe in yourself.

You feel numb or disconnected —you procrastinate. Like you're watching your life from a distance. This is your nervous system protecting you, but it comes at the cost of feeling fully alive.

If any of this sounds familiar, it doesn't mean something is wrong with you. It means something is unfinished in you, and it's ready to be addressed.

If You've Tried Before and It Didn't Stick

It's not because you didn't try hard enough.

Most of us were taught that healing happens through understanding. If we can just figure out why we are the way we are, we'll feel different. So we read the books. We talked about it. We traced the patterns back to their beginnings and learned things.

But you noticed that knowing isn't the same as being free.

You can understand exactly why you struggle to trust people, and still feel your chest tighten when someone gets close. You can know your childhood wasn't your fault, and still carry the shame of it as if it was your fault. You can see the pattern clearly, name it out loud, and still watch yourself walk right into the same pattern again.

That's not a personal failing. That's how the brain and body work.

The pain you're carrying wasn't only stored in your thoughts. It was stored in your body, in your nervous system, in the moments when something happened that was too much, too fast, or too soon. Your body remembers those traumatic moments long after your conscious mind would like to move on. And until the body gets a chance to heal and let them go, the patterns keep showing up.

That's the work we do together. Actual release.

Until the body gets a chance to release the fear it's been holding, and the brain can rewire the old beliefs, the patterns continue. Not because you're failing — but because the healing hasn't reached the place where the wound lives.

How I Help?

I'm Gail Mae. I know this work from the inside, not just as a practitioner, but as someone who spent years searching for a way to heal before finding the techniques that finally set me free.

For over 15 years, I've helped people release emotional patterns that keep them stuck. When the root causes are healed, the results are profound and lasting.

I use EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), sometimes called Tapping. EFT, works with both the body's energy system and the nervous system, tapping on acupressure points to calm the stress response and neutralize trauma at its source.

Alongside EFT, my training in Internal Family Systems (IFS),  Matrix Reimprinting, grief recovery, and coaching, supplements and deepens the work. We are addressing the layered wounds and experiences beneath the issues.

These are evidence-based, body-centered approaches, and I bring them to bear on whatever you're carrying. We don't just talk. We heal. Gently, safely, and at the pace that's right for you. My clients often feel a shift from the very first session. When the body is finally given permission to release what it's been holding, it knows exactly what to do.

That's emotional healing. Not managing your pain, but being free of it.

In a word, Gail Mae is exceptional.

I have invested in CBT-based therapy on more than one occasion over the years, but it doesn't compare to the benefits I received while working with Gail.

During our very first session, I delved deeper and opened more than I had in months of conventional talk therapy.

Gail has trained extensively in many modalities, eventually developing a personal approach that's both powerful and unique.

I must also mention her compassion, generosity, and intuition, which permeate every level of her work. So rare to find someone who offers such a safe place to explore your vulnerability, your "stuff" — a place to rework, reframe, reinvent...without judgment ~ only acceptance and love — highly recommend.
