What is EFT Tapping?

EFT is a highly effective and evidence-based epigenetic technique developed by Stanford engineer and performance coach Gary Craig. Gary studied TFT (Thought Field Therapy) with Dr. Roger Callahan, a psychologist, who had researched ways to help his phobia patients.

Gary observed that one could gain the same benefits when the complicated algorithms of TFT were simplified. He called the method Emotional Freedom Techniques or simply EFT.

EFT has proven effective in enhancing the body's ability to change behavior patterns, overcome negative beliefs, and eliminate stress.

How Does EFT Tapping Work?

EFT combines ancient Chinese meridian energy points with modern psychology. Think of it as "psychological acupressure"—you use your fingertips to tap on specific points while focusing on a problem.

This sends calming signals to the brain's amygdala (the fear center), helping your nervous system shift from "fight-or-flight" to a state of safety.
